A Montreal-based composer, producer, and musician active in film, television series, and documentary. His work focuses on sonic material, the rhythm of a narrative, and emotional precision.
His film credits include La petite et le vieux, Arsenault & Fils, and Dis-moi pourquoi ces choses sont si belles. His television work features Vitrerie Joyal, Le monde de Gabrielle Roy, and Temps de chien. His music has received nominations and awards at the Gémeaux and Gala Québec Cinéma, where his writing is recognized for its attention to timbre and the breathing of images.
On stage and in studio, Alexis Martin has performed with Richard Séguin, Isabelle Boulay, Daniel Bélanger, Robert Charlebois, and many other key Quebec artists. He is co-founder of Studio Le Hublot, a creative space dedicated to experimentation and artistic collaboration. With the Alexis Martin Ensemble, he is preparing the release of Pôles Volume 1 in spring 2026.
