The five musicians of Sylvain Cossette’s jazz ensemble are present on both the jazz and popular music scenes, and their work can be heard in Montreal, Quebec, the United States and Europe. Gathered around guitarist and composer Sylvain Cossette, Alexandre Côté, Bruno Lamarche, Sébastien Pellerin and Alain Bourgeois each bring their personal baggage during various explorations, in a spirit of free and open collective creation.
The show SECOND CYCLE will feature the nine tracks of the album during a live performance by the quintet, which will showcase its various jazz influences while offering sustained improvisations. The concert is also intended to be a multisensory experience during which video projections imagined by the artists Laetitia Mallette and Francis Desjardins will echo the music performed on stage.
