Founded in 1999 by Carole Therrien and Alain Bédard, EFFENDI is one of Canada’s leading independent jazz labels. A true driving force in the Quebec jazz scene, it has supported both established and emerging artists for over twenty-five years in producing albums, concerts, and tours across Canada and abroad.
With over 176 albums released, 90 awards won, and hundreds of nominations (OPUS, Félix, Juno, Django d’Or, etc.), EFFENDI stands as a symbol of excellence and creativity. Distributed worldwide by Naxos, the label continues to share the richness of Canadian jazz with audiences around the globe.
