The Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ) is an orchestral ensemble of varying size and scope, bringing together national as well as international conductors and artists of the highest calibre. Its mission is to commission, present and record new works, and to perform pieces from the world’s repertoire of 20th and 21st century jazz music, as well as pop, world and film music, with a particular emphasis on highlighting the influence of jazz in these other musical genres.
