LoFi Octet

LoFi Octet is Olivier Hébert’s brainchild. His divers experience as a working musician, playing trombone as much as upright bass brought him to a deep interest in music structure. His taste for orchestral music and modern jazz is fueling his composition skills and arranging work.

A part from his own projects (Fanfare GRÜV’N BRASS and LoFi Octet), Hébert has worked as an arranger for horns and strings section for many artists. In 2012, he did all the arrangements for a concert bringing together on stage electro-pop band Valaire and l’Orchestre Métropolitain (Montréal), conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
