Frank O’Sullivan

Frank O’Sullivan is a professional guitarist, composer, and teacher based in Montreal. Originally from Ottawa, Frank relocated after graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2012.

Once in Montreal, Frank quickly became a first-call musician on the scene after joining the Kalmunity Vibe Collective. Maintaining a prolific and diverse career as an instrumentalist, he’s performed and recorded with artists such as Malika Tirolien, Dominique Fils-Aimé, and Busty & The Bass, among many others, touring all over North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. In 2022, Frank was nominated for a Juno in the Best Contemporary R&B Recording category as a co-producer for the song “Gifted” by Kallitechnis.

Since 2020 Frank has released four full length albums of original compositions, and In June of 2024 opened for Al Di Meola at the Théâtre Maisonneuve for the Montreal Jazz Festival. Shortly afterwards, he performed at the Rimouski Jazz Festival, where he was awarded the “Grand Prix de la Relève”.
